Welcome to the wonderful world of Mathematics at Berkmar High School. We hope you find this site useful whether you are currently a student of Berkmar or simply a parent wanting information about our department. The math department is a team that is very diverse, yet we all have a common goal: To educate our future. We spend many hours collaborating with each other on activities, methods of teaching and reviewing, testing techniques and what is best for our students.  

We have a comprehensive and demanding mathematics program that will prepare students for many post secondary or vocational career choices. Our department provides a rigorous college preparatory curriculum for those choosing to attend a two or four year college or university and/or trade school. This curriculum include courses such as Integrated Algebra, Integrated Geometry, Accelerated Integrated Algebra, Accelerated Integrated Geometry, Pre Calculus, Advanced Algebra & Trigonometry, Discrete Math & Statistics. Students desiring more challenging and rigorous courses have the opportunity to be engaged in classes such as Advanced Placement (AP) Statistics & AP Calculus AB/BC which allows the student a testing opportunity to earn college credit while attending high school.
