Formerly an after-school Dance Team, the Advanced Dance Company is an elite group of dancers taught through the Advanced Dance course held during the school day here at Berkmar. In addition to learning the AKS curriculum, these dancers will prepare for performances in dance dept. performances each semester, as well as performances throughout the school and community such as Berkmar's Homecoming Pep Rally Patriot Night, Jazz Festival, and the Gwinnett County Dance Festival. Auditions for this company are held after-school during the month of February. After-school rehearsals are held the week of a performance event.
