We are a team of 3 A average, 3 B average and 3 C average students who compete in 10 subject areas taking tests, writing an essay and performing speeches and an interview. The Academic Decathlon team has been very successful as we have won the state competition 6 times and been state runner-ups twice. We recently placed 3rd in the country for the large school online competition. Academic Decathlon is a year-round commitment and the tryout tests are in early November.
